Using your cellular phone while cruising

One of the things that I love about cruising is that nobody can get a hold of me. However, if you want/need to use your cell phone while we are gone, just know that you may encounter very expensive charges. Once we board, my cell phone usually works the whole time that we are docked at the embarkation port. Once we leave port however, it does not take long until I lose a signal or go into "roaming" and the charges would increase.

So, be careful! John and I usually just turn our cell phones off at that point and leave them in the room.

Do as you must, but realize that it could cost you some big $$$!
