That is THE question! I am talking about drinks here ladies and gentlemen! Officially, Royal Caribbean's documents say that no beverages are allowed to be brought onboard. We have sailed Royal Caribbean 4 times now and we have always brought on a bottle or two of our beverage of choice and never had an issue.
Since the boys will be traveling with us this time, we wondered about soft drinks and waters. Again, officially you cannot bring them. However, I have read some posts on some cruise discussion boards and others have said that they packed a soft-sided cooler or duffle bag with a 12 pack of soda and also waters and they have gotten to their room okay.
So, we are most likely going to try this. If we lose them, we are out only about $10 at the most. If we get them on, we have saved about $24/person for the soft drinks alone (that is the cost of the Soda Fountain package usually on cruise ships).
Smuggle as you please!
